INTENT – summary of the thinking behind your curriculum design and its sequencing The curriculum is designed as an accumulation and application of key musical skills through the visiting of major milestones in musical history. (It should be noted that key skills acquired in Year 7 are still utilised in Year 13 for example, albeit to a higher level). The curriculum is also updated as appropriate in order to be relevant to working in the modern-day Music Industry. |
