Twenty of our students were chosen, based on their applications, to be part of the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Training delivered by the Princess Diana Award. The training enabled our students to grow their confidence and skill in recognizing bullying behaviours in its diverse types, supporting peers or victims of bullying (including online) and methods of safely reporting and recording bullying behaviour. Students engaged in discussions and put together campaign ideas that we can run in the college, to ensure that we maintain our work to tackle bullying. Students behaved with exemplary maturity and enthusiasm and are already eager to ‘get to work’ on their ideas. The group will be meeting each Friday at Lunchtime going forward, so watch this space for updates.
