Dear parents and carers,
we have now come to the end of the final full week of term. We break up for the summer holiday next Friday at 1pm!
We have been looking to the future this week with Induction meetings for our new Year 6/7 boys and their parents and university trips for many students in Year 12.
Year 7 had a very successful Retreat to both Cathedrals in Liverpool on Tuesday, and we have celebrated the achievements of Years 7 and 8 in Awards Assemblies this week. We will do the same for Years 9 and 10 next week.
Good luck to our Junior and Intermediate Athletics Squads who departed for Chelmsford this morning for the English School Cup Final tomorrow. We qualified as Regional Champions.
Fr. Michael will celebrate an End of Year Mass for Key Stage 3 on Tuesday morning. We have our annual Rewards Day on Thursday for all boys who have satisfied the Attendance and Conduct criteria. The College will be open a usual for non-participants. Year 12 will finish term on Wednesday afternoon and will have time for careers research on Thursday and Friday. Term will end and the College will close at 1pm next Friday, 14th July. We will say goodbye to Mr Roberts who has taught PE this year and Miss Duggan who has taught MFL this term.
Year 7, 8 and 9 Reports are being finalised and will be sent to parents from Monday. Please peruse them with your sons! Most are good!
Please encourage your son to collect his Br. Kerrigan Walk sponsorship and bring it into the College before the end of term.
I wish you and your families a sunny and relaxing weekend.
Yours in Christ,
Simon Duggan
Headmaster
