Dear parents and carers,
the weather has certainly turned wintry this week, so please ensure that your sons are suitably dressed for the elements for the remainder of this term. I am delighted to inform you that we enjoyed a notable rugby success on Wednesday as the Under-16 team defeated Calday by 64 points to 10 to reach the Cheshire Cup Final, our first this century! This inspiration certainly rubbed off on our senior Hockey teams who defeated Merchant Taylor’s (1st XI) and Birkenhead School (2nd XI) respectively this week and we hope for further success when the 1st XV play their Cheshire Cup semi final against King’s Macclesfield next Wednesday at 6pm at Birkenhead Park RFC!
On Monday the Year 13 Mock Exams week begins, so early nights are essential from now on! The following week the Year 11 Mocks will be sat, from 27th November.
We also host a Book Fair from Monday 20th November, so please encourage your sons to visit the Library.
We are already planning our Advent celebrations, with details on the college website, and FOSA will hold their Christmas Showcase on Friday 8th December from 7pm in the Hall. The FOSA Raffle prizes will be drawn then, so please return the raffle tickets which have been distributed to your sons.
