The Year 9 GCSE Art groups went to Liverpool on Thursday 7th July as part of their coursework development. The aim of the trip was to photograph iconic architecture in the city centre area. This started with visiting the Walker Art Gallery, St George’s Hall, Liverpool library & Museum. The group then meandered through town recording the varying architecture until arriving at the Pier Head. Students then set-up camp in front of the ‘Three Graces’ and started to draw the famous Liver Building and its surrounding neighbours. The final part of the excursion was to explore the Albert Dock and get some well-earned chips.
The group were an absolute credit to the College, and we look forward to seeing how their ideas develop from here.
Well done!
