Junior Team (Year 7/8) – Highest ranked team north of London

The Junior team had a fantastic start to the day, with some outstanding performances on the track. Particular mention to Hakeem K (Hurdles, 12.7 – 26points), Jac C (1500, 4:47.6 – 25points) and Charlie W (Hurdles, 13.0 – 24points).  All 3 Year 7 track athletes Michael P, Malachi H and Charlie K scored over 20points.

At the end of the track events the Junior team was in 2nd position, which is an outstanding effort.

In the field there was extremely tough competition and excellent performances from Matthew W (Hammer, 37.01 – 28points), Dawid G (Discus, 31.87 – 26points) and Charlie W (Long Jump, 4.91 – 21points).

The team scored 481 points overall securing 6th place, finishing as the highest ranked team north of London.

Intermediate team (Year 9/10) – Highest rank team outside of the South East of England

The intermediate team started in the field, with notable performances from Alex K (Discus, 31.55 – 23points) and Edward L (Long Jump, 5.70 – 22 points).

Going into the track they needed a lot of top performances.. and the team delivered. 11 of the athletes scored more than 20points, with outstanding performances from Alex K (300m, 38.5 – 25points), Charlie H & Lewis G (Hurdles, 12.1 – 24points) and Oberon K (1500m, 4:27.2 – 24points).

The team scored 490 points overall securing 8th place, finishing as the highest ranked team outside of the South East of England.
