Dear parents/carers,

What an exciting week we have had! Words cannot fully express the overwhelming sense of pride I feel for our incredible U-18 Rugby team and dedicated coaches, whose hard work, resilience, and determination have made history in the College. Equally, I was bowled over by the unwavering support of our entire College community—those who cheered from the sidelines and those who joined us via the live stream. Your passion, belief, and encouragement created an atmosphere like no other. Every motivational message, every word of support meant the world to our players, lifting them and inspiring them to give their all on the pitch.

Congratulations to the Intermediate and Senior Cross Country Teams, who brought back silverware from the prestigious Shrewsbury Relays, also on Wednesday! The Intermediate Team were a highly creditable second place, only just failing to reel in the winning team, Haberdasher School. The Senior Team delivered a highly impressive and most convincing victory. Well done to all for your dedication and commitment.

Congratulations also to the Year 9 STEM team who have won the “Consumer Award” in the Unilever STEM Product Design competition. They wowed the judges with their creativity and focus on the needs of the consumer when designing a ‘Cradle to Grave Solution for Oral Hygiene and Toothbrushes’.

Best of luck to our Year 7 & 8 students who are en route to France. We hope you have an amazing time and look forward to hearing all about it next week.

Just a reminder to parents of Year 11 students – the clock is ticking, and the exams are fast approaching. Please support your son with revision, at least two hours each night and at least four each day at the weekend.
