Dear parents and carers,

We welcome back all staff and students from the Berlin trip.  They had an amazing time, albeit a little tired today. Hopefully you were able to follow their adventures on our socials.  Thank you to all Yr7 parents and carers who attended our wonderful ‘Prayer Service’, definitely a memorable one. For those in attendance you will know what I mean!   Thank you to all of our readers and singers, it really was a special event.

Our assemblies this week focused on the Catholic Social Teaching theme of servant leadership and The Gospel of Mark.  We reflected on the fact that being a servant leader doesn’t mean we sacrifice our desire for excellence, greatness or personal growth. Rather, in serving others with humility, we inspire and uplift those around us.  That true greatness comes from making a lasting impact on the lives of others. When we lead by example, serving with compassion, care and love, we reflect the best of ourselves.

Just a reminder that College photos for Years 7/10/12 are Monday, Yr.8 are in Conway Castle on Monday and Tuesday (bring a coat!) and Yr.11 are on their Geography Field trip on Wednesday.

I wish you all a wonderful, restful weekend,

Kind regards,

Mrs Cubbin Headteacher
