On Thursday 8th June, the College was delighted to welcome Metro Mayor, Mr Steve Rotheram, and Claughton’s Labour Councillor, Mr George Davies. Our local politicians took questions from the Year 12 audience and informed the group about the exciting projects which are already underway across the City Region.
Mr Rotheram focused his talk on the assets within the region and the benefits of devolution in England. Councillor Davies discussed the pending regeneration of Birkenhead and the planned transformation of the docklands. Both elected representatives are longstanding friends of the College and we look forward to seeing them in the future.
