Parents/Carers,
This week our students participated in and led a Holocaust Commemoration service. They reflected on the significance of this commemoration, observed a minutes silence and read statements of commitment from the universal declaration of human rights. A very poignant and significant moment for all involved.
Our incredible KS5 students who took on the senior cross-country challenge proudly presented our friends at Claire House with a cheque for £2,603.00. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and sponsored this amazing event! Your generosity will directly fund additional nursing hours at Claire House, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most
This morning, a further 12 students took part in our Bikeability Programme. Bikeability is a national cycle training programme aimed at helping young people learn practical skills and understand how to cycle safely on today’s roads. If you missed out this time, watch out for the next opportunity in the summer term and please ensure your child wears a helmet when cycling at all times!
Finally, you may have already read on our socials, that we are over halfway to securing the funds for our brand-new College mini-bus, and momentum is building. We only need to raise £5k a month for the next three months. A huge shoutout to our latest Gold Level Sponsor, ‘Dropjaw Ventures’ Dear an incredible business advisory company led by two of our amazing parents: Roy and Pip Shelton. We are making real strides towards our goal, but we still need your support. Whether you’re a business looking to give back or a family wanting to make an impact, every contribution brings us closer to the finish line.
