Dear Parents/Carers,
As we reach the halfway point of the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your continued support throughout this half term. Your engagement and commitment play a vital role in shaping our College community. (Still no sign of Ofsted!)
A special thank you to all parents and carers who attended our Year 9 Options Evening last night. Your presence and involvement make a significant difference in guiding our students toward their future pathways. A polite reminder to submit completed option forms by 28th February.
We are also grateful to everyone who joined us for the AGM FOSA meeting on Tuesday. Our next major fundraising event, ‘A Night at the Races,’ will take place on Friday, 25th April, from 6:30 PM at the College. Tickets are priced at £20 per person, including a delicious hot buffet. The evening, hosted by Mr. Mason, promises to be an exciting and entertaining event, with a fully stocked bar! All proceeds will go towards our new mini-bus project. More details will follow, but please save the date.
Additionally, this week, we were privileged to welcome representatives from the Edmund Rice Network, who led an inspiring workshop for our Year 7 students. This session deepened their understanding of the life and mission of Edmund Rice and the significance of being part of an Edmund Rice school. The workshop was further reinforced by our Headteacher’s Awards, which celebrate students who embody the core values of the Edmund Rice 8 Essentials.
