On Wednesday last week, whilst Mr Duggan attended the Diocesan Association for Secondary Head-Teachers (DASH), some of our students from Year 8 & Year 10, accompanied Ms Monk to represent the College at the ‘Mini-Dash’. They were encouraged to reflect upon the importance of praying the Rosary – a very apt topic given that October is the month devoted to this prayer. The instruction to pray using this prayer, was given by Our Lady herself, and provides an opportunity for mediation on the notable events and ‘mysteries’ of the lives of Jesus & his mother. Our students also took part in a range of activities alongside students from other Diocesan schools, which included creating their own rosary beads and a display, which included their own prayer intentions. Students’ exemplary involvement and conduct throughout the morning was a credit to the College. Many thanks again, to our kind hosts at Ellesmere Port Catholic High.
