Edmund Rice Essential Theme next Week: Education for Justice
‘And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them’Luke 6:31
Dear Parents/Carers,
Today we were delighted to welcome over 550 Year 6 pupils to sit the Entrance Exam, with those requiring access arrangements joining us tomorrow morning. We wish them every success with the outcome. It was lovely to see so many waving to their big brothers on the yards!
Yesterday, I shared a link to the Catholic Life & Mission Parental Questionnaire. Thank you to those who have already taken the time to respond. I will share the findings with you in due course. The purpose of the questionnaire is to gather your reflections on our Catholic ethos, mission, and provision for Religious Education. As the survey is anonymous, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at headteacher@st-anselms.com if you would like to discuss any ideas or suggestions further. Your feedback is always valued, and my door is always open if you would prefer to have an informal chat here at the College.
As mentioned at the end of the summer term, both staff and students are currently reviewing our mission statement to ensure it is known and understood by all. In the near future, I will be sending out a further questionnaire to offer you the opportunity to do the same.
If you would like to explore more about our Catholic Ethos and the Edmund Rice 8 Essentials, further information is available on our website: Catholic Ethos – St. Anselm’s College
Wishing you and your families a wonderful weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Cubbin
