Dear Parents/Carers,

Today is World Mental Health Day.  This week’s assemblies have focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between study, hobbies, and social life to support positive mental wellbeing. In recognition of this important day, our students proudly wore yellow to raise awareness and show their support for mental health.

World Mental Health Day serves as a valuable reminder of the importance of talking openly and listening compassionately to one another, key elements in nurturing both our wellbeing and our sense of community, in line with our ER essential of ‘Building a Christian Community’.

I would like to remind you that the College offers a range of support channels for students who may need to talk or seek advice. This includes access to an independent professional counsellor, academic and pastoral mentors, and connections to a wide network of external agencies and organisations, both locally and nationally.  If you ever have concerns about your child’s wellbeing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we are here to listen and to guide you towards the most appropriate support.

Good luck to all competing this weekend!
