Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of this half term, I am writing to you a little earlier than usual. Tomorrow is always one of the most energetic days, and one of my favourite days in the College calendar – Sports Day. This year, we are delighted to return to The Ridings, and we hope many of you will be able to join us. Mr. Hale has already shared the timetable, and with live student music, food and drinks from FOSA, and (hopefully!) a shining sun, it’s sure to be a day to remember.
Tomorrow evening also marks a significant moment as our Year 13 students come together for their Leavers’ BBQ, hosted by The Anselmian Association. An evening full of celebration, reflection, and excitement for all that lies ahead!
Well done to our Key Stage 3 students who have now completed their summer exams. Their focus, effort, and exemplary behaviour have been outstanding, and we are incredibly proud of them. I hope they can now enjoy a restful and refreshing break, ready to embrace the final half term with a renewed focus.
Looking ahead, there is an array of trips and events planned, and we are currently finalising the 2025–2027 calendar to support your planning and budgeting. We will share this with you as soon as it’s ready.
Wishing you all a joyful bank holiday weekend and a lovely half term break if you’re taking time away.
Kind regards,
Mrs. Cubbin
