Dear Parents/Carers,

We started our week with our annual Remembrance Service.   We focused specifically on the lives and stories of the four youngest Anselmians, who were killed in action aged only one or two years older than our Yr.13 students.  On Sunday, we visited the grave of Raymond Tasker McLean, of the Royal Air Force, who is buried at Wallasey Rake Cemetery, aged 19 years old.  Thank you to our fabulous musicians and excellent readers who contributed to what was a very solemn and impactful service.

Thank you for all of your amazing pictures of your pets in socks raising awareness for Anti-Bullying Week!  Who knew rabbits could wear socks! Our KS5/4 assemblies focused on the dangers of “sextortion”, KS3 assemblies focused on the effects and consequences of bullying, which link directly to this week’s liturgical theme of rights and responsibilities.

A polite reminder that our Sixth Form Open Evening is Tuesday 19th November from 6pm – 8pm so please spread the word.

Our FOSA Advent Wreath event on Thursday 28th November is a sell out!!  However, tickets are now available via the Link below for the Christmas Showcase December 6th: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/ticketshop/iframe/event.php?eventhash=e-rrzvoa&target=

Finally thank you to all who have generously donated to our Mini-Bus Project via our GoFundMe page: Fundraiser by St Anselm’s College : St Anselm’s College Community Minibus fundraising project and to our amazing sponsors; £12,000 in two weeks is a remarkable achievement – if you would like to find out more please check out this link:
