On Wednesday 2nd April a group of students, completed a 40 mile + charity bike ride to raise money for Stick N Step, a local charity dedicated to helping children with cerebral palsy. The route, which included a full lap of the Wirral Circular Trail, was completed in just over 5 hours by all 19 cyclists.
The group was ably led by Mr Roberts, AKA “Mr Cavendish”, who, as well as being an excellent cyclist, is also very handy when it comes to tyre repairs! Students were in fine spirits throughout. Muscle cramps, punctures and even a broken bike did not stop them. Thank you to Mr Jones, father of Felix, for bringing a spare bike. Special congratulations to Sam N (Year 10), our youngest cyclist.
