We welcomed back former student Dylan Adlard, who has successfully completed his training to become a commercial airline pilot at the age of 20! He travels to London in a few days to begin his career as a First Officer for British Airways. Dylan delivered his presentation to Year 11 as well as a number of students from lower year groups, who were invited to attend having shown interest in becoming a pilot.

Dylan spoke about the necessary qualifications required, flight simulations for emergency scenarios, his 7 month training course in Florida, independent flight hours, cost and fees and many other aspects of the journey he has embarked upon. I would like to thank Dylan for taking the time to visit us, sharing his exciting and ambitious career choice.

We look forward to following his career in the years to come.
