Matthew Lamming
Class of 2007
Matthew left the College in 2007 after studying Chemistry, Biology and PE. He was an active member in the College Rugby and Athletics teams. Representing the College at many sporting fixtures.
Matthew went to Loughborough University and completed his studies in Chemistry & Sports Science. He is now living in Hong Kong, where he has founded a chain of pizza and doughnut takeaway restaurants, Dough Bros Pizza & Doughnuts.
Memories of his time at the College:
Simon Mason- a few antics (kitbag incident) on my 1st Caldy away trip, probably best not to mention them here!
Dave Hill- absolute legend!
Joe Green & Pam Jones- a lot of athletics trips (failed miserably at throwing the discus) which were great fun!
Daryl Taylor- another great bloke.
I’m very fond of my time at St Anselms. The College had a great mix of staff and students which allowed for a well rounded education setting the lads up well for their futures. I made some lifelong friendships and learned lessons that stay with me to this day.
I’m really grateful for my time at the College and proud to be an alumni!
