Dear parents and carers,
we now have only 1 week of term left!
Years 11 and 13 have completed their Mock Exams and you will receive your sons’ results next week. Year 10 Reports are being completed and will be sent out by the end of term. Our Year 12 Parents Evening last night was well-attended and conducted in a positive atmosphere, reflecting Year 12’s encouraging progress this year.
Good luck to our Year 8 Rugby 7s team who have won their first fixture this morning at the Rosslyn Park Festival. This follows the impressive triumph of our Year 9 7s team at the Wirral GS Tournament last Friday.
Next week our focus switches towards Easter and the end of term. All Key Stages will have Lenten liturgies focusing upon Holy Week and the Passion of Christ. Lenten fundraising events continue with the Senior Cross Country sponsored challenge on Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday morning our former student, Matthew Edwards, now a Green Councillor in Bradford, will speak to the 6th Form and Year 11 about his political career and activities during PSHE. On Wednesday afternoon we will interview the highest-ranked candidates in our Prefect Election and appoint our new Head Boy and Executive Prefect Team.
I wish you and your families an enjoyable and relaxing weekend.
Yours in Christ,
Simon Duggan
Headmaster
