Cheshire Under 17s continued their unbeaten season, with four St Anselm’s College boys representing the county, in a 24-19 victory over Staffordshire. 

Cathal Lynch was given the honour of captain following his excellent performance last week. 

1st XV captain Jack McCabe started in the 2nd row and had a strong presence in the line out.

Dylan Gray was physical at prop and made some telling tackles. 

Charles O’Connor also had a strong performance in the centre and he has worked exceptionally hard this season and it was great to see his consistent performances for the 1st XV rewarded.

It was a fantastic 1st XV season this year (18 wins out of 22) and these recent selections mean ten St Anselm’s College players have represented Cheshire at under 16, 17s and 18s in 2021-22
