Students study a broad, balanced and ambitious Key Stage 3 curriculum for all. The curriculum is not narrowed and all subjects enjoy parity. The curriculum is designed to give students the necessary knowledge in each subject area, so they are equipped to commence to GCSE and A-Level studies. It also aims to develop the whole person, creating students who are responsible citizens with strong moral values.
The Year 7 curriculum is designed to create a smooth transition from our partner primary schools and the Key Stage delivers the statutory National Curriculum requirements.
Students follow a fortnightly timetable with 6 x 50 minute lessons per day. The number of lessons for each year group is set out in the table below:
