Dear parents/carers,
Just when I think it is not possible to be any prouder of our College, I read the outcomes of the ‘Parent View Ofsted Questionnaire.’ Not only did the Lead Inspector comment on the significant number of parents/carers who completed the questionnaire, he also commented on the overwhelmingly positive responses:
• 99% of respondents agree ‘My child is happy at this school’
• 99% of respondents agree ‘My child feels safe at this school’
• 99% of respondents agree ‘The school has high expectations for my child’
• 99% of respondents agree ‘My child can take part in clubs and activities at this school’
• 99% of respondents agree ‘I would recommend this school to another parent’
This was an ungraded inspection, which differs from a graded inspection because it does not result in individual graded judgements. Instead, it focuses on determining whether the school has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection. The inspectors did share a number of comments and statements, of which we are extremely proud. The full report will be published within the next 30 days.
Most importantly, as always, we came together as a College community and showcased ourselves at our best.
I personally found this inspection to be a calm and unbelievably enjoyable one. This, I believe, is testament to our distinct ethos and well-established routines and behaviours that we expect day in, day out, irrespective of an inspection or not.
Thank you once again for all your messages and emails, which I have shared with staff and, of course, I printed for the inspector to read also!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Cubbin
